Freedom to Read Week with Jillian Tamaki

Hear author and illustrator Jillian Tamaki address the importance of intellectual freedom and speak about her challenges around censorship and experience with the banned books list, specially her Governor General's Award winning book, "This One Summer." This Freedom to Read Week presentation is for teens and adults. Jillian Tamaki is the co-creator of the graphic novels "SKIM" and "This One Summer," with her cousin Mariko Tamaki. She is the author of "SuperMutant Magic Academy" and "Boundless."
