While Pink, Blue and You! has not been reported to be formally challenged in Canada, it is received challenges in the U.S.
According to CBC, a district library director in Dayton, Washington said Pink, Blue, and You! originally received complaints on social, and later at a library board meeting and formally. After the library considered complaints, Pink, Blue, and You! remained in the children’s non-fiction section. Some community members appealed the library board’s decision.
