Endangered books welcome: Enter into Ottawa Public Library’s ‘book sanctuary’

As libraries across North America are caught in the crosshairs of censorship attempts, books targeted by ideological challenges have a home of their own in Ottawa’s public library. The “book sanctuary,” located both online and at the public library’s main branch at 120 Metcalfe St., gives a space for “endangered” books, or titles that have faced challenges for their content.
