Journalists are often targeted for exercising their right to publish ideas and information. Jessica Kim and Spencer Izen learned this firsthand. As student journalists, they spoke against censorship pressures in their school newspaper. Now they’re co-campaign directors of Canada’s first student journalism protection legislation.
